A-1 Judgment Recovery
FAQs

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions from Judgment Creditors just like you....

1.  How much will your service cost me?

Nothing.  You provide us a certified copy of the judgment and fill out the paperwork to tell us a bit about the circumstances of the judgment and
to assign the judgment to us.  Then we go to work.  We front the database costs, court fees, sheriff's fees, etc.  We get paid for our fees and
costs only if we find some money and  actually get our hands on it.  The balance goes straight to you.

2.  Can I use an attorney to collect my judgment?

When you work with A-1 Judgment Recovery, you are using an attorney.  A-1 Judgment Recovery is a division of the law firm of Wallach &
Associates, P.C., a Missouri professional corporation.  With A-1, you get the expertise of an attorney, but none of high retainer or hourly fees
usually associated with hiring an attorney.  We are experienced and confident of our success, so we can afford to get paid only when
     successful.

3.  How is A-1 Judgment Recovery different from a Collection Agency?

A Collection Agency specializes in making contact with the debtor and irritating him to a point that he finally sends a payment to get them off his
back  This method rarely works for long.  We only enforce judgments.  With the judgment in hand, we can find the debtor's salary, bank
accounts, cars, real estate, and other assets, and seize them.  We don't have to confront the debtor - we just use our methods to take money
from the debtor's pockets and put it into yours.

4.  What judgment recovery solutions and tools do you use?

Many more than a traditional collection agency, which include power of garnishment, bank levy and vehicle or personal property seizure, to
     name a few.

5.  Is there a time limit on how long my judgment is valid?

Yes.  In Missouri, a judgment is valid for 10 years.  During the last year, it can be renewed for another 10 years by a court proceeding.  But the
petition for this proceeding must be filed before the expiration of the 10th year.  If you are near the end of the 10 year period on your judgment,
contact us.  A-1 Judgment Recovery is a division of the law firm of Wallach & Associates, P.C., who can file the petition for you to renew your
judgment.  Note: Other States have different time periods.  Contact us if your judgment is from another State and we will assist you to find out
the time period for that State.

6.  After I sign the paperwork for you to begin work, how will I know the status of collection efforts?

Our office will keep in contact with you regarding any major developments in the collection activity.

7.  I had a judgment at one time but I've lost the paperwork. Can you still help me?

Yes.  if you will supply us with as much information as possible, we may be able to locate the case for you.  There is a nominal $10 fee for
locating the judgment which includes obtaining a certified copy.

8.  Who uses your judgment enforcement services most?

managers and business owners.  We also help attorneys who want to ensure that their clients are well cared for by offering judgment
